Biba was a short-lived, legendary store in London operated by the fashion designer Barbara Hulanicki, and designed by Steve Thomas and Tim Whitmore. In 1975, the Sunday Times called it "the most beautiful store in the world." Situated in the old Derry & Toms building, the stylized emporium with a markedly Art Deco-inspired interior became one of the most visited tourist attractions in London between 1973 and 1976. Anthony Little was involved with much of the store's initial marketing and branding prior to its move, and designed the store's logo, which appeared ubiquitously within the store and on its products.
