Though best-known for his bright and bold travel posters of the 50s and 60s, Klein worked as Art Director a theatrical advertising agency, in the late 1940s, making way for many theater poster commissions. Klein designed posters and artwork for shows including Death of a Salesman, Brigadoon, Most Happy Fella, The Music Man, and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
