Additional Details

A beautiful watercolor scene of vendors under colorful awnings along New York's Coney Island boardwalk. Exhibited at Forum Gallery in "David Levine: The World He Saw," December 2014-January 2015 and at Campbell-Thiebaud Gallery, San Francisco. Known mainly for his caricature, Levine was an equally fine painter. He was fond of visiting Coney Island and recording the events of a changing New York. The Forum Gallery exhibition featured many outstanding works from this period.
