Folio-sized 3/4 leather over printed tan and gray boards folder (15x11 inches), lacks backstrip on First Series, both covers soiled; all but 2 plates with the small printed caption mounted at the right bottom corners; a few plates soiled along the margins, and some occasional foxing; contemporary inscription on pastedown of First Series to Sterling Westhorpe, 1884; contents loose as issued.
