Boys I've Wanted. December 22, 1976. Typescript with manuscript title, dedication, occasional textual corrections, and captions, quarto; inscribed on lower panel in blue ink: "for Kirby Congdon, / with thanks for your concern" and dated 1/8/77; each poem appears opposite a black and white printed photo of the poem's subject, many of which are copied and cut from Cooper's high school yearbook; loosely bound in a hand-made paper wrapper, stapled with title inked on front panel (severely decayed paste streaks throughout, toned); 11 x 8 1/2 in.
