An exceptional and rare Art Deco image of a Japanese woman in traditional dress overlooking the hot springs of Hitoyoshi, beneath a decorative cherry blossom branch. "Onsen" (hot springs) in the town of Hitoyoshi originated in 1910, and now there are more than 50 hot spring sources there. The text at the bottom of the poster reads "For more information inquire at the Hitoyoshi Hot Springs Village Association . . . or ask the nearest station master. Down the Kuma River - Through the end of October."
