Eastern Air Lines was a major U.S airline, headquartered in Miami, between 1926 and 1991. World War I flying ace Eddie Rickenbacker bought the company from General Motors in 1938 and helped solidify its early successes. Eastern dominated air travel between New York and Florida from the 1930s until the 1950s, and remained prominent after as well. Another printing of this small poster, dated 1959, advertised the trip for 50 cents more.
