British United Air Ferries operated between 1963 and 1967 as a cross-Channel service for motorists. Among their fleet was the Aviation Traders ATL-98 Carvair, which could carry as many as 5 cars and up to 55 passengers. James Bond fans will recognize that aircraft as the one that transported Goldfinger's car in the eponymously named Bond film. Airways p. 129.
