A photocollage promoting travel to Amsterdam and the still relatively-new Schipol airport. Formed in 1916 as a military airfield, it wasn't until 1920 that the airfield was used for commercial, civilian flights. The airport was more fully modernized, including the construction of a passenger terminal, in time for the 1928 Amsterdam Olympic Games.
