One of several prominent posters advertising travel to Rio de Janeiro on Braniff Airlines from the 1950s. A later version of this poster exists with different coloration and with different typography at the bottom that only reads "Braniff International Airways." In addition, the jet plane in the later version flies toward the right side of the sheet, while the propeller plane silhouette here, flies into the O of RIO.
