This poster advertises Sven Hedin's book that recounts his 1923 expedition around the world, From Peking [Beijing] to Moscow. Hedin was a famous Swedish explorer, geographer, photographer and artist. Hedin illustrated some of his own books, but it does not appear that he designed any posters. This travel book was published by W. de Haan, and was printed in several languages including the original Swedish, German, Hungarian and Czech. This is the Dutch version.
