The Borsalino Hat Company was founded in 1857, and successfully used posters as a means of advertising their products and promoting their business. Here, presented along with the company's recognizable cursive logo, a dapper hand doffs a fedora. Intentionally or not it is a photographic "tip of the hat" to Leonetto Cappiello's memorable Mossant image.
