Bob Dylan at Philharmonic Hall.
Letterpress poster. 545x355 mm; 21½x14 inches. 1964. Murray Poster Printing co. Inc., New York.

Poster promoting Dylan's famous "Halloween" show in New York, October 31, which featured duets with Joan Baez. Rare.

Only 23 years old at the time, Dylan mesmerized his audience. The concert was recorded by Columbia Records with the intention of turning the evening into Dylan's fifth album for the company. But Dylan, who was looking to leave his folk-based music behind him and move on to a more electric, Beatles-inspired, rock sound, refused to let the album be released. The album wasn't released until 2004.Condition A-: small tear and minor creases in lower right corner; minor creases and abrasions at edges. Printed on brown paper.
