Black Coffee was author Agatha Christie's first piece written for the stage, in 1930. The successful play was adapted as a film in 1931, and eventually novelized in 1998. This poster advertises the Belgian adaptation of the play in 3 acts - dated by a printed French edition adapted by Blanchart, Duchatto, and Renaux, "Cafe Noir," Les Éditions Théâtrales Quand Même No. 15, Janvier 1938.
