Condition B+: repaired tear in upper right edge into image; restored loss in right margin; light creases, abrasions and restoration in image; staining in margins. Morocco, directed by Josef von Sternberg and starring Marlene Dietrich and Gary Cooper, was released in the United States in 1930 and in France the following year. It is the love story of a Legionnaire and a night club singer, with Dietrich famously performing in a tuxedo. This is the original French release. The artwork is ostensibly the same as that on the American poster, except with more feathers in Dietrich's boa and more desert details in the background. Reel Art p. 130 (var).
