Condition B / B+: repaired tears, creases and abrasions in margins and image; multiple restored pin-holes in corners; minor losses in top margin; crease through top right corner. An exceptional and rare image from the early days of aviation in which a biplane is illuminating the fairgrounds at night. While this event was not an "air meet," the use of an airplane in the advertising indicates the allure and fascination that flying had for the French. The image also exists in a very large 8 sheet version.
