DESIGNER UNKNOWN FLY TWA JETS / BOEING 707. Circa 1960s. 40 1/4x25 inches, 102x64 cm. Condition A-: minor creases and abrasions at edges. TWA entered the jet age behind many of its competitors with a single Boeing 707 in 1959. The company's owner, Howard Hughes, had made a costly and ultimately unsuccessful investment in Convair jets. However, by 1967 TWA was one of the first airlines in the world to operate an entire jet fleet.
