With its New York headquarters built at 28 West 19th Street, and later at 111 Fourth Avenue and 12th Street (in 1920), the International Tailoring Company was founded around the turn-of-the-century and gradually grew into one of the world's largest manufacturers of men's custom-made clothing. Jacob L. Reiss and his wife Mary were the founders and directors of the company; they also had offices in Chicago. Model No. 121.
