The golf course at Shillong, the hiking trails and vistas of Darjeeling, and the waterways of Kalimpong are all illustrated. E.B.R. was part of the Indian railway system. It was via this route that the resorts were easily reached, as they were, in fact, hundreds of miles from Calcutta!
