Printed on board. Borrowing an advertising conceit from their competitors on the North Shore Line railroad, also operating out of Chicago, Northern Pacific promoted the historical aspect of the route their line followed between Chicago and Seattle. This is a very rare poster and is atypical of the Railroad's usual output.
