The Kölnische Zeitung [Cologne Newspaper] was purchased by Marcus Dumont in 1805. It gained renown for its important editorials, as well as being one of the earliest newspapers to send reporters around the world. This early morning scene shows a biplane dropping newspapers into the Ruhr Valley's industrial region, supporting the paper's slogan, "Early Morning, Available Everywhere."
