The Fire Brigade is the story of an unscrupulous contractor, whose work with inexpensive materials leaves his buildings prone to massive conflagrations, and the brave men who not only fight the resulting fires but also fall in love with the contractor's daughter. The New York Times' review stated that the film was "not only interesting and thrilling, but it is informative," as it showed firemen in action (New York Times, December 21, 1926).
