A visual representation of the vibrancy and unpredictability of Jazz itself, this poster celebrates the 25th anniversary of the storied London House Jazz Club in Chicago. Opened in 1946, London House was a fixture of downtown Chicago, known as much for its steak as its lively performances by Jazz standouts such as Ramsey Lewis, Oscar Peterson, Marian McPartland, Ahmal Jamal and Sarah Vaughan. As the venue entered the age of disco, attendance dropped and London House's doors were closed shortly after this anniversary event.
