Panair was Pan American Airway's Brazilian subsidiary. Originally known as the New York, Rio, Buenos Aires Flying Boat Line (NYRBA) the company was taken over by Pan Am in 1930. The NYRBA employed Consolidated Commodore Flying Boats (as depicted here) for their route stretching from Miami all the way down the East Coast of South America.
