Situated on the outskirts of Mysore in the Chamundi Hills, the Nandi Statue (sacred bull) stands more than halfway up a steep mountain at the top of which is a temple to the Goddess Chamundeshwari. The statue is carved from a single stone. This is the English version, of which 20,000 were printed.
