DESIGNER UNKNOWN SKYRIDE. 1933. 24 3/4x16 1/4 inches, 63x41 cm. Condition A-: restored pinholes and minor restoration in corners. One of the highlights of the Chicago World's Fair was the Sky Ride. Essentially a gondola, the Sky Ride was referred to as a "Transporter Bridge" that could ferry passengers 215 feet off the ground for a distance of 1,850 feet across the fair.
