Organized by Jerome Diamant-Berger, who came from an illustrious family of French movie pioneers, the festival featured directors of varying levels of obscurity, but also some important names like Orson Welles, Chris Marker,William Klein and Jean-Luc Goddard. The poster itself is a gem of modern avant-garde design.
