Condition B+: creases and staining in margins and image; vertical and horizontal folds; tape on verso in corners. Paper. Not a product of the International Red Cross, these lozenges were produced by the Candy Brothers' Manufacturing Company of St. Louis, Mo. Judging by the uniform, this poster dates to the 1890s, as quilted baseball pants were popular during that era, but fell out of vogue after the turn-of-the-century.
