No information exists about a grand hotel on Genoa's Piazza Nunziata, but it was likely a former palace. In 2006, several prominent buildings in that area were included on UNESCO's World Heritage List. The "Palazzi dei Rolli . . . [are] wonderfully ornate and very original private residences belonging to the city's aristocratic families which, in 1576, started to host the distinguished guests of the Republic of Genoa" (www.genova-turismo.it). This hotel must have been grand and completely up-to-date, as the poster shows automobiles and even an airplane, implying the sophistication and modernity of the "albergo."
