This unsigned poster is archetypical of the French Art Deco advertising genre. A geometrical evocation of a woman's body is standing firmly in the middle of the image against a black background, with her red gown simply presented. Everything here is skillfully treated: The airbrush treatment of the halo, the sensuous effects on the red gown and above all the typography which is powerful and elegant. The poster's title is drawn in an inventive, cubist type while the rest of the text plays with the effects of light and darkness.
