A rare Italian image of the mighty Matterhorn. While the pronounced peak straddles the Swiss and Italian borders, it is mostly the Swiss who have commemorated the mountain via lithography. This dramatic night image, beneath a starry sky, is likely the largest poster of the mountain ever produced. We have found only one previous auction record for this poster.
