Silk-screen. This rare portfolio shows what could perhaps be designs for fabric, wallpaper and graphic designs by, among others, Paris' Russian immigrant artist community. Richly-colored and decorative, the plates are beautifully silk-screened by Calavas. Some of the artists were on the verge of becoming famous (Brodovitch, Gladky, Lacroix, Valensi) and some have remained obscure in history but were no less talented, such as Okolow and Tchimonkow. The artists who contributed works to the project are listed along with their addresses, presumably so customers could order projects from them.
