The Library of Congress's Detroit Photographic Company collection, which holds this image (as a glass negative), dates it circa 1900 and locates it in Kingston, Pennsylvania though mount verso notes Scranton, Pennsylvania (in an unknown hand). The hand-coloring appears to have been applied later.
