original typescript of an early dick story, published in fantastic universe in the june-july 1954 issue. With Dick's original title "The Buggies" crossed out and replaced with the revised title by the editor, and inexhaustive examination shows the edits incorporated into the published version. (See: "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale," Citadel Press, 2002, pp. 119-127; p. 380.) Original Dick material is quite scarce, with most of it firmly behind institutional walls.
