Large 8vo, original publisher's buckram in various colors with black leather spine labels lettered in gilt, some spines faded, some moderate rubbing, woodblock plate is a bit foxed and with some glue from mounting to the mat (which also bears soiling as does the felt lining inside the box.) one of 877 sets of the limited edition, with an original woodblock of an illustration used for the Chapman and Hall first edition. This block is titled "The Dutch Bottle" drawn by Marcus Stone and was used as the frontispiece for Volume 20, Our Mutual Friend.
