The style is far edgier and more avant-garde than the later work for which he is well known. Here, to promote an exhibition of radios and record players, he uses only three colors to evoke a simple image of a record, a radio tube and a plug. This efficient Art Deco image succeeds in delivering all the information the client would have desired without being messy.
