Condition B+ / B: repaired tears, creases and restoration at edges, some slightly affecting image. London was not only filled with wonderful activities but was quick and easy to get to, as Batty so appealingly illustrates here. "The young woman is wearing a jumper with a geometric pattern with matching scarf, hat and gloves. The detail of the twisted fabric around the waist, and the effect this has on the pattern and the flowing line of the scarf--as if blowing in the wind--show not only a clear understanding of the qualities of textiles, but also great skill in the art of fashion illustration" (London Transport p. 141).
