Quarto, 11 1/4x9 inches, contemporary full tree calf with black morocco spine labels, slightly worn at edges with some scuffing, repaired area on rear cover of volume 1, foot of volume 2 just starting; plates generally clean but with some age toning, few with small marginal tears, occasional offsetting, title page of volume 2 spotted and with vertical crease in margin strengthened on verso, preliminaries and final text leaves of volume 2 turned brown, text with a few tears mostly marginal, two extending into the print, one gathering slightly loose; housed in a custom 1/4 morocco clamshell box.
