one of 250 copies on paper and flourished by edward johnston from a total edition of 263; there were 13 copies on vellum. Johnson was a master calligrapher who taught at the London County Council Central School of Arts and Crafts and at the Royal College of Arts between 1899 to 1912. Among his notable students who went on to become renowned artists were Eric Gill, Graily Hewitt and Anna Simons.
