Carborundum mezzotint with handcoloring on cream wove paper, circa 1940s-50s. 191x219 mm; 7 1/2x8 5/8 inches, full margins. Signed, titled and inscribed "1-6" in pencil, lower margin. A very good, dark impression of this very scarce print.
We have found no other copies of this print at auction in the past 20 years. Another copy of this impression can be found in the collection of the National Museum of American History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC Ittmann 129.
