one of 200 copies on handmade keijyo kami paper signed by dreiser and additionally inscribed and signed by him on the half-title, dated 10 June 1930 and with cover of original mailing envelope, addressed in Dreiser's hand to same person (John Newbegin of Portland, Oregon). Curiously, a pencil line is drawn across a portion of the colophon with the words "never issued" at top, though the book was certainly produced in the limitations stated.
