Quarto, lacking general title page and all preliminary leaves before signature AA; first leaf is the half title; illustrated with full page woodcut opposite first leaf of text and approximately ninety-five text woodcut illustrations; bound in full 19th century crushed morocco, tooled in gilt for George Rutland of Newcastle-on-Tyne; tooled in gilt, aeg; large diagonal corner tear with loss of top outer corner (folio 31) with loss of text to about five lines on each side; tear to center of leaf 32 with slight loss; paper reinforcement to bottom blank margin leaf 216; 8 x 5 1/2 in.
This edition is based on an earlier Stagnino edition which uses the same illustrations. The text is the work of Pietro da Figino, with Cristoforo Landino's commentary and edits.
