Octavo, fifth edition; lacking first and last blanks, title page damaged and professionally mended (small hole repaired); bound in full modern navy morocco, spine lettered in gilt, all edges gilt; with numerous neat ink manuscript annotations throughout corresponding to the 1929 Nonesuch edition of Donne edited by John Hayward, possibly Hayward's copy; 6 1/8 x 4 in.
