The most elaborate publication inspired by the economic events of 1720, this work primarily satirizes Dutch manifestations of the speculative mania that led to the Mississippi Bubble in France and the South Sea Bubble in England. The regular complement of illustrations consists of 74 plates; this copy has duplicates of plates 14, 48, and 63, and lacks 5, 7, 13, 35, 46, 68, 70, 71, and 74.
