first edition; later issue, with part 5 in 10 pages and plate 65 (the sheet of playing cards) in the second state titled Pasquins Windkaart. The most elaborate publication inspired by the economic events of 1720, this work primarily satirizes Dutch manifestations of the speculative mania that led to the Mississippi Bubble in France and the South Sea Bubble in England. The regular complement of illustrations consists of 74 plates. This copy lacks plates 9, 27, 34, 38, 44, 73, and 74, and has plates 2, 3, 4, and 6 from the supplementary series found in some copies.
