ABOUT WAX MODELS USED DURING PHONOGRAPH EXPERIMENTS EDISON, THOMAS A. Autograph Note Signed, twice ("TAE"), to his son Charles, in pencil, concerning the disposition of some wax anatomical models, written in the lower margin and vertically in the left margin of a typed letter to him from Charles. Charles's letter, signed "Charles" in pencil, recalling childhood memories of the models, inquiring about their history, what should be done with them, and, in a manuscript postscript additionally signed "Charles": "TAE, Yes--these are the ones, but there are several pieces," written vertically in left margin, in pencil. 1 page, 4to, "Charles Edison" memorandum stationery; folds. "I bought the models in Germany. They represent the internal ear & helped in phon[ogra]gh expe[rime]nts, [phrase crossed out]. There are only two or 3 pieces, made of wax. They were kept in case on 2nd floor at Library. Are these the ones you mean?"
