Additional Details

". . . I am not a strict vegetarian. I am an extremely small eater, and eat just enough to keep my weight constant and to prevent putrefaction in the lower intestine. Of the small amount of animal food I do eat, it is cooked at rather high temperature. I eat no lettuce, celery or fruits except those with heavy rind.
"We all live in a malignant environment, and I try to protect myself against it as far as my knowledge permits me to do so.
"Please consider this as a personal letter and not for publication."
