Air Union was founded in 1923. In 1927 the company began passenger service between Paris and London on the luxurious "Rayon d'Or" or Golden Ray. The plane pictured is the Leo 213 (Liore et Olivier). In 1933 the largest existing French airline companies, Air Orient, Societe Generale Transport Aerien, Cidna and Air Union merged into a single corporate entity: Air France. This is the larger format.
