For this image, also from the Museum series, Kauffer presents a more muted color palette to illustrate Stibnite, presumably one of the many minerals on display at the London Museum of Practical Geology. It exhibits a continuation of Kauffer's "English Vorticism style," a stark diversion from his earlier, painterly poster style, circa 1915. His interest in the Vorticist movement is also apparent in his nod to Japanese woodcuts, sharp diagonals and geometric abstractions (Kauffer pp. 16 & 34). Kauffer p. 34.
