This orotone was formerly owned by Junius S. Morgan III, the grandson of J.P. Morgan, Curtis' patron. The provenance label on frame verso reads: "Presented to me by: Captain Junius S. Morgan, USNR [United States Naval Reserve]," and appears to be initialed.
